I'm glad that there's finally a supplement that goes into a lot of detail about crabs.

I think that was covered in the Book of Erotic Fantasy.

As someone who games with diaglo, I will vow to turn the tables on him. My next character will be a fisherman, no matter what "adventurer" class he ends up with.

This book is great; my group was just floundering without it.

Personally, my favorite is the cure for crabs - 'shave one side, set the other side on fire, and stab them with an icepick when they come out'

checking to see if JoeBlank is gonna keep his promise. :)

Curses, he called me on it! I had a backup chacter dreamed up for our 3e game, a swashbuckling fisherman, but I've managed to keep my character alive in that game.

Now he suckers me into OD&D this weekend, and waits until I have my character concept before he reminds me of this. Rather than working the fisherman concept into my fighting man, who is already a member of the upper class and has a gambling addiction, I'll go ahead and roll up a backup fisherman. Word has it we will need the backup characters anyway.

Folks I'm afraid he is just stringing you along...

PS - Be sure to check out the pic's title.

You got me this time, although I don't know if you mean next session of your OD&D game or of Olgar's 3.5 game. Both sessions pick up mid-combat, and could likely result in a TPK.

I have been thinking on backup characters for both games, and will follow through on my threat this time.
