Setting guide revision about done, need a hand though

Just to let everyone know, the setting guide revision is almost done. The changes are amazing and the guide is better in every single way I can think of.

In fact everything is done except the following:

  1. Reviewing the setting-specific monsters for 3.5-compliance and formatting
  2. Reviewing the Prestige Classes for 3.5-compliance and formatting
  3. Reviewing the Domains for 3.5 compliance and formatting, as well as any spell changes required due to changes in spell lists, spell names or spell levels
  4. Art. We currently have no real art, just some cheap clip art I got off RPGNow. At the very least I would have liked some cover art, but Emily seems to have dropped off the planet and never came through (though the prefinal she showed me rocked, sadly.)
We can't do anything about #4, but if anyone would like to contribute to the project by diligently going through one of 1-3 with an eye for detail, they'd get a credit and much thanks.

Barring anyone stepping forward, I'll do my best in the next couple weeks, hehe.

Well, #1 will require one of us to basically build the monsters each from the ground up using the 3.5 book process. At least, that's my take on it. I simply don't have the time or the eye for detail this will take.

#2 I will do if no one else steps forward, once the book comes back from the editor. It should just be a matter of making sure the skills match the new skills list (wilderness lore = survival, etc) and making sure no spell-like abilities are based off deleted spells. I can do that easily enough.

#4 we don't need to prioritize this one, though if someone wanted to contribute a high-quality piece of art for the cover they would certainly get credit for it. In the meantime, I've done up a cover with some simple art I purchased the rights to for us.

Any more news on the revision?
Thanks for reminding me! Ok, we have everything completed except straightening out domains. We'll be doing that once the editor gets the book back to us.

The problem, of course, is that although this is a professional editor, he is doing this as a favor for free. And it's in the same pagecount range as most setting guides, so it is a big project. Short version: it's a long task he's working on when he isn't working on projects that actually pay him.

It is still in progress, though, and we're finding little changes to make here and there in the meantime. I'm disappointed at the delay, but it's definitely going to be worth the wait.

To tell you the truth I didn't know we were so far along in the process of the new guide. Em, since you know the state of the guide the best, do you think its too late to add anything to it? I'm speaking of feats, prestige classes, etc.
