Gavin slips off and masterfully blends into his surroundings. He sneaks down the pasageway. After traveling for about 20 seconds, he comes into a large cave and notices movement. Instantly flattening himself up against the wall, Gavin watches as a scorpion of monsterous proportions. Scattered about the cavern are many corpses, and at least three discolored unconcious corpses. While Gavin watches, the beast begins to munch on another live victim.

Jasper prepares for conflict, checking his crossbow string and loosening his blades in their scabbards.

 

[Capellan]

I get my bow ready as I wait for Gavin to reemerge from the cave.

Grrr...bugs

Gavin upon seeing the creautre, begins to move make to the party slowly preparing his bow.


"There is a large insect type creature up ahead, some dead..." Gavin speaks to the party in hushed tones, "I think you best prepare your weapons..."

OOC: Can you all post a physical description, and name of character. I will be starting a journal soon and want to have these things right.

Jasper prepares to back up Gavin, his crossbow set on 'Kill Bugs'.

OoC:The OOC thread would be best for descriptions, so as not to disrupt Gru's Game.I'll get on that a bit later.

 

[National Acrobat]

Arcanra prepares a Minor Image Spell, that will have a few Heavily Armored Human Knights with Heavy Flails ready to attack the bug, hoping that the illusionary knights will buy time for the party to pepper the beastie with arrows and other ranged attacks.

Just let me know when to set it off...

"All we need to do now is lure it out. A loud noise should do it, if everyone is prepared?"

Alexander pivots his horse around and prepares to move away and get in charging position.
"I have an idea for that illusion of yours, Arcanra.. A cavalry charge, perhaps? Led by yours truley!"
Alexander will move about 40 feet away from the entrance, and lower his lance, shield in one hand and Sword ready to draw after his charge is complete.
"It is too bad we do not have a trumpeteer." He says as he moves away.

 

[National Acrobat]

Arcanra turns to Alexander, "splendid idea. Might make good use of that one." Arcanra concentrates and his 2 armored guys are now on horses, light flails at the ready.
