The spell shades (the better version of Shadow Conjuration) says it can mimic any conjuration spell of 5th level or lower. Also its component is only V and S, and the duration is not listed. Im assuming this means the componenets are V,S no matter what spell you mimic and that the duration depends upon the spell being mimiced. But then it occured to me how horribly this spell could be abused. Take for example, Leomund's Secure Chest. Normally it requires a ridiculously expensive component and focus (the chest). If i mimic it with shades, however, there is no need for that component, and it still has all the properties of the normal spell (including the duration). Any thoughts on this?
