Shadow Blend

Horn of Fog, though it's going to be hard to attack after you do so.

I believe ToB classes grant something for this. A stance or a feat or something.

Yeah, Child of Shadow or something, but I it is only concealment, not total concealment.

Big difference, unfortunately.

Help! I "need" concealment! Displacement works too... (obviously their is greater cloak thereof).

I really like how you come up with these "thinking outside the box" solutions, but in this case, sadly, no. I am not going for the "last person in the party to die in a TPK" role (aka the duelist), I just want a 50% miss chance when I get to high level melee.

I know, I know, I shoulda played a caster... LOL

I've been getting confused on how this works.

So at will am I 100% concealed or do I need to take some sort of action to activate this? When I attack anyone I don't lose my concealment and they're considered flat-footed 100% of the time? I could be visible one second then choose to gain 100% concealment and don't have to make any hide check or anything at all?

The ability doesn't say whether it needs to be activated. However, the "a 7th-level Dark Moon Disciple can disappear into the shadows, gaining total concealment" part seems to imply that it isn't, per default, always on. In order to keep things sane, I'd say it takes the usual standard action to activate. It's still pretty nice, since this ability has no clause as to when it ends except for the prerequisites (no natural or magical daylight).

Bottom line: no, you're not 'considered' to have total concealment, since that is not what the ability says. But you can give yourself total concealment. As per usual for (Su) abilities, this would take a standard action.
