Shadow Conjuration question

Failing Reflex is easily done, but even Fortitude would not really be possible realistically in many cases, I guess. ;)

Failing Will against illusions, especially for oneself, is pretty nuts, tho.

Anyone who has done a decent bit of acting knows it's much easier to fail your will save to believe something is real even if it is not, than it is to fail your reflex save. It's much harder to tell your body to not instictively react to danger than it is to tell your mind to not disbelieve something.

When dealing with something that you know for sure is partially real, it's even easier to convince yourself to go with the flow. Not that hard really to gain experience in putting aside your sense of reality for a time.

Heck, I'd think any D&D player could identify with what would be required to give up your sense of disbelief of your own free will to gain a benefit from indulging in such a fantasy for a few minutes.
