Shadow form spell?

Looking through the latest spell compolations ( Magic of Fearun etc.) I there are a number of "Creature Form" spells out there.
i.e. Kiss of the vampire, Ghost form ...

Could any of you have a go at a Shadow form spell in a similar vein?

I dont have a Monster Manual, so I have no idea what they can do , it's just that I'm creating my scorcerer around a Shadow theme: Shadow adept. illusion focus, etc. (Trying to convince the DM to allow an Improved familiar-Shadow ,what would that get me in familiar benfits?) It would really help my theme along.

I have been toying with the idea of haveing it exactly the same as blink except for the obvious visual differences ,and that it blinks to the shadow plane,what do you think?

There is a Psi Power (6th level IIRC) that is called Shadow Form. Don't know the details, you may want to browse the SRD.

thanks, a mate of mine showed me that power I think it was 8th level a little high but I'll keep it in mind.
