Spells and Magic from Bastion press has one called the Shadetouched:

The Path of Shades, walked by the Shadetouched prestige class, has a fork in it – the Gray Road and the Red Road. One attunes to necromantic energies from already dead sources; the other sacrifices living beings to absorb and use the energy from their deaths.

Well I'm still working out the kinks in my revised Penumbral Lord...but Penumbral Lord from Relics and Rituals is...well it would be decent IF they had better spell DCs and improved spellcasting levels for such spells.

In any case need to check out Races of Stone again to see that Shadow one...

Also look for Book of Roguish Luck by Malhavoc Press. It supposed to have a Shadow Mage base class. The PDF is coming April 2005. Print version in June of the same year.

The one from Races of Stone is gnome-only :\ .
Just ask your DM to consider dropping the requirement. I mean it's not like there's only gnomes that use shadow magic.
