[Shadow of the Demon Lord] Rogue vs Warrior

So, for those with a bit of experience in SoDL, I have questions.

First off, Rogue. At first level they get Trickery.
Trickery Once per round, you can make an attack roll or challenge roll with 1 boon. If you attack with 1 boon from this talent, your attack deals 1d6 extra damage.
Unless I am mistaken, that means a Rogue can attack with 1 boon and deal 1d6 extra damage every round. Right? Powerful stuff.

The Warrior gets
Weapon Training When attacking with a weapon, you make the attack roll with 1 boon.
So, attack with a boon, but no bonus damage. So, at least at 1st level, a Rogue is kinda the better fighter, except for 2 more HP that a Warrior gets? What am I missing here?

And this seems to never actually change. By lvl 8 the rogue, having taken Backstab twice
Once per round, when you attack with a basic or swift weapon and you made the attack roll with at least 1 boon, the attack deals 1d6 extra Damage. If you choose this talent a second time, the extra Damage increases to 2d6.
deals 3d6 extra damage (plus attacking with a boon).
The Warrior will deal the 3d6 as well at 8th level, but no boon (but with a chance for an addition 1d6 extra damage on 20+). So still worse.

I feel like I am making some sort of mistake, am I?

Warriors will have a much easier time using larger weapons that do 2d6 or 3d6 damage, because they generally have higher Strength. And they'll be able to make 3 attacks with that larger weapon, all with a boon. Rogues can only use backstab with a basic or swift weapon, which limits their damage to 1d6+1. And crucially, Trickery and Backstab are both limited to once per round; if they roll well they might get a second action with Exploit Opportunity, but that requires a 20+ roll.

The rogue can spike for higher damage at level 1 if with Backstab, sure, doing 3d6+1 with a rapier, vs a warrior doing 1d6+2 with a battle axe. (Although the warrior could eat a bane to use the 2d6 or 3d6 weapon). But the rogue is very vulnerable to enemies that have any sort of defensive ability that applies a bane, which happens a lot in SotDL or SotWW combat. If the enemy applies a bane, that 3d6+1 is down to 1d6+1.

Also note that the Warrior gets another ability that gives them another 1d6 damage to every attack starting at 2nd level. A backstab rogue will generally be good at doing great damage on one attack, the warrior is seeking out multiple attacks and their kit makes them better at every single attack they get to make.
