To comment on the Chose of Mystra, Simbul is one of the Seven Sisters, who are daughters of the previous Mystra. Elminster and Khelben are also Chosen of Mystra, but I can't recall why they are chosen.

Well, d'oh! They are Ed Greenw**d's Mary Sues. That should be obvious.

Thanks again for helping. Is there any plan from WoTC to do more books about each region?

In my FRCS book they don't tell us very much about all that kind of stuff. Even in Lord Of Darkness we don't really know how strong are the Zents and how strong are the Drows that help them.

Shadowdale is where high level adventurers go to retire, thats why its so hard to defeat.
Sure it may have a small population, but think how strong a 15th level fighter is compared to almsot any number of 1st level warriors. Now reemmber there are tons of mid to high level ex-adventurers there and you start to see why Shadowdale is so hard to take over.
