I keep flirting with getting into Shadowdark, I like the concept but I wish all the player options were in one book.

Maybe this solves it, but if I understand it correctly it's one book with the core classes amd rules and one setting book with the rest of the classes?

The Cursed Scrolls have the rest of the classes. I believe these other books are going to be mostly setting material?

NM I forgot the first page already.

"-The player book will have all the classes and spells from the zine consolidated into one book so making characters from the Reaches is easier, but it also has a great deal more that isn't in any zine"

I do wish more class-heavy games would occasionally put out compliations of material, especially if the new classes are fairly lightweight.

The way Kelsey explained it is that all 6 Cursed Scroll zines are micro settings and thwe Western Reaches campaign setting knits them all together into a whole setting. The books are supposed to be mutually informative.

EDIT - Its potentially 8 books, all six zines (3 as-yet unpublished) and both a Player and GM guide for the setting. Not everything is reproduced in the two setting books.
