This is the 4th or 5th version of my campaign map I've done in the past 15 years, and far and away the one I'm happiest with. It took a little while to work out the mountains, and I need to work out a few details when I move down to smaller-scale maps, but overall...I'm pretty darned proud, and wanted to share.

It's color marker on "marker-safe" tracing paper, scanned, with rough draft names and political borders added in MS Paint (for now). I like the texture the markers added.

I haven't totally worked out scale, but it's approximately equal to western Europe. It's not really meant to cover a large climate range; the north is cooler than the south, but except for the area around the Far Ice, and the high plateaus, it's all temperate.
