Shadowrun D20??????

Not to mention I thought the whole sophomoric sex features of RPGs stopepd by the early 90s. No the recent d20 book by the Valar Project is NOT falling under this label IMO. Everything I heard about it was well done.

Obvious joke, but very cool nonetheless.

I found this remark on Fanpro.com. This is the German site so I have no idea what this says. If anyone can translate please do.

Thanks again!

Very loosely translated:

"There is some guy in America who is still taking this totally seriously. That is the damndest thing. Let's go invade France."

Shadowrun D20 transmission at that: 2004-04-01 11:09:52 (CET)

Today we have burst let the bomb on the American Shadowrun-homepages: the transposition of the Shadowrun-control device on the in all respects popular D20-System. Moreover there is a short Preview (with pictures!) for the first Shadowrun-D20-Ergänzungsband!

I love it when Germans use bomb metaphors....

It might be a good move, though. Based on Ken Hite's Out of the Box column, they seem to have lost a lot of market share.

I do not think the premise has aged well. Cyberpunk is very eighties.

I'll save it for another thread, but let me just say that Shadowrun moved beyond "cyberpunk" a good while ago. Sure it still has aspects, but it really has become more.

And what, roleplaying in a pseudo-medieval world doesn't have a slightly dated aspect? :\

It's snubbing the d20 system "just because" that I'd say is a bit dated.
