Shameless price gouging at WOTC stores

I was looking thru the "clearance bin" at my local WOTC Retail store, and happened upon a horde of Chainmail mini's marked at "75% Off". About 2-3 months ago, I had gone there to pick up a couple of Chainmail minis I wanted for my game, notably a "Hammerer". I remember it was priced at $5.99 before 50% markdown.
Now, the same Hammerer mini's are 75% off, but are priced at $7.99!!!
Also, ended up picking up a booster pack of Heroclix. When it was rung up it was $7.99. I could swear that everywhere else I've gone, Heroclix boosters retail for $6.99.
I guess I will not be going there anymore.

what to do

point out the false advertizing and demand the discount. if they give you a bunch of flack then SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE. every retailer seems to forget consumers always have that option and once enough consumers do that then their ways will change or they will go out of business.

the last time I went to a "WotC" store was about 2 years ago. they didn't even have their OWN books. I was looking for 4 books that they didn't have. of course they said we could order them and when they come in you can pick them up. but I said its over an hour drive why would I bother when I have a game store 5 minutes away from where I live? (wife and I were coming back from an out of town trip and we happened to pass the WotC store)
