Nightfall's Nitwits

You do realise i now have to listen to episode 0 just as a recap before listening to this, don't you?;)

So Mark was the player who didn't get to generate his character on audio?

Sounds like a reference to a Gamers movie to me!

I believe Mark was suffering from the Nerd Flu that week and made his character at home. He certainly didn't cheat on him though. Mikael Knutzich is just as unimpressive as the rest of the loonies that hang out with Ivy.

I particularly enjoy the range of character accent tropes the players decided upon. The "Southern" Gnome was hilarious.

I'd like to know how much production went into the piece - seems like the group did one continuous set but they seemed too 'calm' for what I've usually encountered in group gaming.

Thanks Herobizkit! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The session(s) was one adventure that spanned 2 game sessions. We got all the way to the last fight when we ran out of time the first night and had to resolve it the second game night.

As for editing, all of our actual plays are heavily edited for timing and content. Episode 1 of Shannon's Game, uncut, was approximately 1.5 hours long. That said, it looks as though there will be about two more episodes.

Will they?

I was wondering if you'd list out what skills each character took?

Had this vision of the halfling asking the dwarf if he had an axe only for the dwarf to admit his brethren didn't think it safe for their reputation if they allowed him to carry a hand axe!;)

So did any of them level during the course of these two game sessions?

Just wondering if any of them declared what they would have done if they had gone up a level?

No leveling happened in this, mostly because it was a one-off adventure. Shannon wanted to keep Ivy, so the further adventures of the Nightshade Nitwits may come eventually.

Also, as this was an introductory one-off, many of us didn't consider career paths yet. I loved playing Arthur Lobnob Pengrove, though and considered going Wizard/Priest with him. Hopefully we will revisit them in the future.
