Shape of Spells - Feat?

Hello All,

I've been searching for Feats related to changing the SHAPE (area) of spells. I am familiar with Sculpt Spell (from Tome and Blood, and from Complete Arcane) but that isn't what I recall or what I am looking for specifically.

I thought there was a (metamagic) feat which would allow the spellcaster to leave a "hole" in the middle of a spell area so that he wouldn't hit an ally (or himself) in the middle of a bunch of foes. Kind of like dropping a Fireball on everyone around him, but not himself or his ally.

Am I imagining that there is such a feat or can anyone tell me where I might find such a thing??? Help?

Archmage High Arcana has 'Mastery of Shapes' which allows (no spell level adjustment included) does exactly that.

Extraordinary Spell Aim is what you're looking for, I believe. I think it's in Complete Adventurer.

YES!!!! That's the one I was thinking of. The 'Mastery of Shapes' would do it also.
