Shapeshifting Melee Fighter

First Post
Just in case anyone know a way of doing this inside RAW I thought it worth an ask

Is it possible through any comination of exiting classes in any sourcebook to have a

Medium sized Character that can:
Shapeshifter into a handful of forms( e.g progressivly small to Huge+ , climbing, flying, swimming etc))
Is nearly as good as a frontline fighter or barbarian in melee without using spells or equipment
and
no thats all a solid frontline fighter who uses a variety of forms and natural attacks and has no need of spells or equipment.

Thanks in advance if anyone knows of a way
Cheers

Wildshaping ranger 5/Master of many forms 10/Warshaper 5

Your DM may consider allowing warshaper levels to stack with wildshaping from another class(in terms of how much HD you can use).

At level 21 take 1 more level in master of many forms so you can wildshape with full supernatural abilities.

No. Everyone gets gear, everyone uses gear or falls way behind. Your Kewl character must pay for his abilities one way or there is no readon to be a Fighter or Barbarian. You'd want Iron Heroes or True20. True 20 is a better bet since the magic that would transform you in Iron Heroes is untrustable.

If allowed and if one can stay exalted. Having to cut into the party treasure so you can donate your share may try not sit well with some folks.

Is giving up druid spell casting ability worth less strict enforcement of exhalted ?

if not enough of a trade off what about no exhalted feat either just the modiferes at each level.

Hmmm... if you don't mind a bit of spellcasting, a Druid 5/Nature's Warrior 10 is pretty nasty. You Wild Shape as a Druid 15 and cast as a Druid 13 (I think). Wild Shape + druid buff spells + the bonuses (and BAB) of Nature's Warrior can make you terrifying even without any equipment. Pick up some armor with the Wild enhancement and you terrifying and nearly untouchable.
