Sharing CC2Pro files...?

The Shaman

First Post
I've started using Campaign Cartographer 2 Pro for my Modern PbP game, and I want to be able to share the files with the other players in a way that preserves the detail of the original map - there is a significant loss of detail and clarity that comes with converting the file to .jpg or .bmp.

The ProFantasy site has a downloadable CC2 reader, so that end of things is covered - I'm looking for suggestions on ways to actually put the map file in their virtual hands without using e-mail. I'm a little leary about setting up a website for a number of reasons (html novice, no sure about hosting, would like to keep it to just the players in the game), and I'm hoping someone can suggest another file-sharing option for me.

Any and all help would be gratefully appreciated. :)

You could make a yahoo group - Profantasy's CC2 discussion list is actually hosted there, for example. It's free service to make your own group, and you can store files (limited by total size, but cc2 files shouldn't be a problem). You also can set up an email list and have access to a chat client.

If you can stretch the budget a bit. (Its not free)

Check out Fantasy Grounds.

btw...

I don't work for the company but I like the product.
