'Carrot' is spelled with a 'c.' :o

That was a Muppet Show joke. The scetch called for a 7 foot Parrot, and they got a seven foot Carrot. I can't remember the name of the guest star, though. She was one of the original SNL cast.

Really? Well, it is a rather obvious play of words, I must admit... :)

Anyway, pirates have much more parrots than carrots, I guess. ;) A pity, that; carrots might (?) help against scurvy and other health risks that are inherent in the pirate lifestyle...

The muppet show is still one of the best shows ever. They had all the cool guest stars at the time, the comedy was brilliant, and it was not made for children like many people believe. O, children could enjoy it and laugh, but many jokes are very adult and very well hidden.

Pirates of course have more parrots, that's why I wanted to place in a paragon parrot. The perfect parrot. We can even give it like 60 levels of Barbarian. That, my friend, is a man's parrot. :D

I was too young when I saw the Muppet Show, I guess... :)

Heh. "Are you man enough for this parrot?!" :p
(Note: The correct answer for most anyone is "probably not..." :o)

Even worse: We could create a hideous pirate crossbreed:

Parrotcat!!!
:D

We are blessed with the occasional rerun and the DVD release of the episodes.

Parrotcat, that's classic. :D

The only hting I can remember about the muppet show (other than two guys who complained in the balcony, man I loved them)
was tha tI used to goto bed at 8 o'clock and they cam on at 8:30.

I used to think, "Man, If I only lived in Cleveland. They get it at 7:30." I don't know why I associated Cleveland with the Central Time zone when I was five.
