Sharks Are Scary!

Sharks aren't scary, one of my best friends is a shark:)

(okay so one my family's totems is a Shark- and my uncles would often go out and swim amongst sharks. I've done it once too. I wouldn't pat them on the head but no need to be scared:))

and the Kalevala rocks, uts a great DnD resource

Last night I had a dream that a huge, dinosaur-sized shark was on display at Sea World.

The shark was over 100' long, and was truly horrific.

Since it was a dream, it only made sense that it leaped over the side of the tank and flopped around on land...

True story.

Did I mention that I'm terrified of sharks?

I didn't mind sharks either once, would fish on the flats in conditions where there were smallish sharks all around because I knew they didn't really see me as prey. Then a great hammerhead more than 12 feet long made an appearance and I barely got into the boat before it decided to turn around and see how I tasted. Same day hammerhead of the same size and description attacked 4 people a bit further down the coast. I've never had such a relaxed view of sharks again. And humbolt(sp) squid are worse, especially at the sizes they can reach!

At Seacamp, in Big Pine Key Florida, I learned how to SCUBA dive. They had a unique way of getting kids used to sharks. Next to the Mess Hall was the Shark Pit, a small lagoon filled with nurse sharks, bonnet head sharks (like a small hammerhead), and a 6-foot long barracuda named Charlie. Guess where we had to go skin-diving? ;)

I've been scuba diving with Sand Tigers and Nurse sharks as well as more barracuda than I can count.

... I need to get my dive gear refurbished.

Another would be my blinogo, or sea goblins, based upon the goblin shark:

I still like the art of the Razor Coast book best, it's WARsome after all. :)

Ha! The Razor Coast Cover is indeed WARsome!

Click it and it gets big! I love Joomla! Such a fun website content management system. Thankfully I have a brilliant friend who is showing me how to use it, otherwise the Sinister site would basically be a page that says Sinister in Times New Roman and a list of my products. :D
