Shatter Saves

Using Shatter on an attended object would give the object a Will save with it's posessor's modifier, right? So shattering a cleric's holy symbol is more difficult than shattering a fighter's sword?

Well... it uses it's own saves, or it's masters, whichever is better (2 + 1/2 caster level, round down). An intelligent object also adds is Wis modifier to will saves. A fighter wielding a sword with a caster level of 15 is probably using the sword's saves, at +9. A 3rd level cleric, on the other hand, probably has a will save of around +7.

Given that Shatter can only affect non-magical objects, a sword with a caster level (magical object) or an intelligent sword (not an object) isn't an issue :)
