WEll, if this is supposed to be a battlemap for, e.g. D&D 4e, I wouldn't concentrate on the map having realistic dimensions but rather on it having enough room to maneuver and having fun terrain features.I'm putting together a map today for a ship voyage, and I am woefully unknowledged about ships.
What are some good dimensions for a ship (squares width by squares length)?
The ship I have in mind is not something built for war/repelling battle at sea, but (roughly) a cargo vessel.
