The scientists found fossils in the South American country Venezuela, and think it weighed around 700kg, 700 times more than a normal guinea pig.

This was on BBC radio 4 this morning.

They were interviewing an eminent scientist on the issue, and asked him "So what does this teach us about the natural world that we didn't know before?"

The eminent scientist paused before replying "Well previously, we didn't know guinea pigs could get that big"...
