Shooting into Melee

A question to the folks who have the book(s) already: how is this handled?

A flat malus like in 3e, risk hitting another target, target counting as covered or something else?

From the DDXP and KotS rules... its no different from shooting at someone who isn't in melee. You just make the shot as normal.

No penalty for shooting into melee. Although cover may come into play.

However, your allies never grant cover to your enemies. But enemies can take cover by being behind other enemies.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Mort!

It dont exist any more. It is just shooting at an enemy.

However enemies provide cover for each other and allies dont for enemies.

Hmmh, this will take some getting used to. Some of my players will surely be delighted, but I do see some house rules waiting for their place at our table.

Thanks for all your answers!
