Should Forbiddance Bar Summoned Creatures?

I agree with Hypersmurf on this one. Extraplanar travel within an area, in or out, seems to me to be covered by the term "within" b/c the activity is going on "within" the area of the spell.

I think the problem with this spell is that we don't know the designers' intent.

"Into" covers entrance to the spell area. Saying "Into or out of" would prevent crossing the perimeter of the spell area but allow people to dimension door, teleport, etc. as long as the start and end point were both inside the area. Since that was not what the designers wanted (or they would have used that wording) they said "into or within." Hypersmurf correctly pointed out that any movement that starts in the area (whether or not it ends there) must have some component of the movement "within" the area and is thus prevented. The wording is very clear.

It doesn't say "completely within" it says "within," which a start point that lies in the area of the spell clearly is.
