(OOC: So is that a 'yes, we proceed in an arbitrary direction in single file down the narrow twisting crystal passageways while marking the mirrorlike crystals with chalk to hopefully keep track of where we have been?' or am I reading too much into it? )

ooc: that is what I had in mind. Of course there is a possibility of writings being wiped off.


How about the crystal does that help point in a direction.....Rhys asks of the crystal holder(Not sure if Irene still has it).

*Walking through the mirrored forest of crystalline pathways, passages, and pillars, the group tries to find their way to another exit without totally losing their orientation, relying on chalk markings to keep their place. But what they didn't expect is that while they are hunting an exit, something else is hunting...them!*

*A large crystalline creature with a lean muscular feline form and two tentacles made of shimmering glistening crystal leaps forward out of thin air and pounces to attack Thurgan, slicing deeply into the dwarf's flesh.*

(OOC: Thurgan takes 24 on the surprise round. In the regular round, Anton, Cade, and Rhys beat the critter on Init, so post actions!)

Rhys will declare the crystalline creature for his dodge AC18, 17 all others.

Rhys will move to attack if he can reach the creature 11, 4 damage

Cade will draw his lance and shield and charge the creature, passing by and wealing around for another attack.
