OOC: Nah, it's a lance, so that doesn't help much. He'll just attack durring the charge/pounce to get in on the lowered AC bonus :)

OOC: I might guess an attack for him, not sure on a rage (Not sure if he has one, or wants to waste it on potentialy one shot). Give him till the end of the day monday.

(OOC: Bleh! Yeah, I forgot about that. Okay, I'm going to now assume that the following should be NPCed until they chime in:

Anton
Thurgan
Rillian
The Actual NPCs)

*Rillian prepares an attack, as does Cade, while Anton fires twin arrows. Though the first arrow misses as the creature shimmers, the second strikes true, almost towards the heart, hurting the creature gravely indeed.*

(OOC: 10 Damage)

*Meanwhile, as the beast leaps downward, Cade uses his reach to make an attack that also connects, but Rillian whiffs as his wide-arced Greatsword swing slices only through air.*

(OOC: 7 more, 17 total)

*Finally the creature's pounce is completed, as it lands near to Rillian and enters a flurry of motion with its crystalline tendrils and claws and teeth, eviscerating the warrior.*

(OOC: Woo--critical and a lot of hits! That'll be 37 Damage)

(OOC: Everyone else other than Cade, Anton, and Rillian get to go now!)

(OOC: Those who stated that they moved to the front are blocking the others from spaces that can directly threaten the creature, but you could still move just behind and heal, etc, or try ranged weapons)

*Eskon moves into a flanking position with Cade, and so thanks to that favourable position, his sword barely strikes a vital spot. The creature is terribly wounded, and will probably fall if any else amongst the heroes can finish the job.*
