Shrinking a box ??

What happens if I put something inside a box (or a chest, a sack or any kind of container) and then shrink it ?
I hope the content is shrinked too, but actually the spell description does not state it.

If yes, then a permanencied shrink on a chest can be used as a bag of holding, I think. Is this ok ?

In a word, no.
If you have a permanent Shrink Item on a box, and then fill the box with stuff, the stuff stays normal size when the box is shrunk.

I would say if you cast Shrink Item on a box of stuff, the box and its contents are shrunk. That is consistent with how "object" is handled with other spells.

However, I would not allow a Permenant Shrink Item to apply to varying contents. That is an interesting magic item idea, but it not an appropriate use of Shrink Item.
