After finishing at the Steadward Centre I headed off back to the other side of the river valley. With better light to work with and blue sky, i got some good pictures, IMO.

Man, you just be clickin' away.

Nice pics by the way, I'm saving some of these for gaming use.

It's the first time I've had access to a digital camera, so I'm a little pysched. I'm going to take it out with me today, as I'm going to see Serenity in the late afternoon.

And here's another one of a "spooky" tree located just outside the Butterdome. It's a freak tree even in the daylight. It's even gloomier during the winter.

Later,

Books and Magazines!

Like any gamer I have a tendency to collect game books, novels, and magazines. And like any good packrat, I find room to store books and magazines anywhere I can. In these pictures, a couple of the shelves are a bit messy, but that's because I actually "live" in my apartment. :p

The first picture shows my main D&D/RPG shelf, while the second shows my overflow section (well, at least one of them). The other are random photos of what I store on my shelves.

Back from seeing Serenity. Awsome flick, I highly recommend it to anyone, even if you've never seen the Firefly TV series. I was going to take a lot of pictures but the short-life batteries that came with the camera are dying already.

Thus, I only snapped this shot outside the theatre of the mall. Not very exciting but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Go get you some NiCad rechargeable batteries. I got some that only take an hour to charge. They cost a bit more but are worth it. Especially for those of us who take lots of pics at conventions... :)

Actually, I recommend you get NiMH batteries. They hold a charge longer and they have no memory, so if you recharge them in the middle of their capacity, they won't think the middle's the new "top end" like NiCad's.

Oh, yeah. Those. That's what I meant.
