Sick of my old crap laying around, what to do with it?

I sold a lot of my stuff on eBay, but I'm not sure I could be bothered to go through the hassle all over again. I didn't make much money, but at least the books went to good homes rather than being thrown out.

And you never know, you might have some items which are in demand. MERP stuff seems to sell well, for instance.

Tell him I sent you, and you want to unload the stuff. He is the absolute fairest guy ever for dealing with this, and it'll be one-stop shopping for you w/o the hassle of hundreds of ebay shipments.

I tried giving away all my 2E stuff once. No one would take it, as shipping was tad pricey. So, last year I tried selling peicemeal. That worked much better.

I'd go Amazon. Not as fast as Ebay but ebay with raid you with fees, and stuff. My dad sold all of his Superman and Startrek stuff about 2 years ago for 250, after ebay got done with their share he was left with 65 bucks. My mom didnt have the heart to tell him. She said she spent the rest on bills.
Far as Im concerned ebay is a bad product with great marketing (much like Ipod!).

Yeah, I don't get that either. eBay is pennies on the dollar. Something is not right there. If that were actually the case, no one would use it. It's not just marketing.

I think try the trading /marketplace forum here first because :

ebay is a LOT of work
Noble Kight will probably give you approx 20% cover cash or 33% trade value for bulk sale
second hand bookstores probably less than above

Amazon sounds inetresting - I don't even know how to look for OOP stuff though...

I just looked at dragonstrove - they may be slightly better than NK, but none of the 2E stuff you have listed is on his "hot" list... looks like he prefers to offer trade value too, so that may not help your clutter problem.

Let us know what you decide to do and how it works out - I'm in a similar position and chose not to trade w/NK because of what I was offered...

If you want to do the gift think, consider joining BookMooch, listing your books, and sending them off for free. You get points in return, with which you can get other books. It works for me, but for ordinary non-RPG books.
