Sid Meier's Pirates!

This is ironic thread necromancy: I just recently started playing Pirates! again.

Not because of the movie (I didn't get to see the second one, so I'm not too excited about the third); I mostly fired it up because my son wanted to watch me play it. But I got drawn back in. Damn stuff is like crack! You know that once I grab all the Incan treasure I'm hitting Civ 4 again....

The original Pirates! was probably my favorite PC game of all time. I enjoyed the new one a lot as well, especially the extra depth that they added. Although all that dancing got to be a PITA after a while. Things definately go better with the boots and hat!

Burning Sea does look interesting, but I'm wary of MMORPGs. Especially ones that have been in development for five years...
