sigil info

hello all,
i find the planer travelling thing very attractive and am thinking on having my next adventure placed in a semi-planscape 3e homebrew. even though i may change lots of things i would dearly like to get any info possible on the subject. i havn't seen a lot of the planscape 2e setting but really like the little i did. the manual of the planes has provided me with lots of useful info about the great wheel cosmology, which is where the game will take place. the planer handbook on the other hand was totaly useless. i also got a lot of info from planewalker.com and since i fell in love with the setting mainly because of the game planscape:torment i am thinking about having the game take place at that time, which according to the pdf about sigil i got from planewalker, is somewhere betwin the great upheaval and the faction war, a time i have absalutly no info on except what i can make out of torment.
so if you know of any book i should buy, any site i should look at or any downloadable pdfs i can get i'll be most thankful if you tell me.

www.svgames.com has just about all the 2E Planescape products available for download. If all you want is to focus on Sigil, I'd recommend the main Planescape boxed set, In the Cage: A Guide to Sigil, and Uncaged: Faces of Sigil. That should give you a good grip on the city itself, and you can branch out from there with other products later on. Keep an eye on www.planewalker.com for more Planescape updates as the months roll on...we're working on stuff, we really are!

you also want the main Campaign Setting box, as that has a whole book about Sigil and the Outlands.

Keep an eye on ebay or a used book store. Ebay has planescape stuff all the time and you can get the basic box at a very cheap price. A used store may or may not have it but it never hurts to check. I know of one in my area that sell rpg material quite often.

Any of the other book are good to have but not required and the pdfs should do just find. I just find that the basic book is worth having in paper form.
