Sil-karg...or my version of half-hobgoblin...

Welocme ya all!!!
I have recently read that the hobgoblin has been errata'ed to ECL +1. I think this fair judgement, however the hobgoblin has been long my race of choice in almost any DnD campaign. I looked into the Kalamar stuff and found (to my surprise) that it has a half-hobgoblin! I felt in love with the race and I have been playing them ever since...
However after a bit of playing I noticed, that comparing to the dwarf it is rather weak.......(and looking at the Sendasti race in Mythic races has just encouraged this opinion)....

So here is my version as follows:

+2 Con, -2 Int
+1 natural armor (desert type race in my campaign)
can only wear light armor (gain proficiency via feats after 5th level)
+2 to all will saves (hardy, strong-willed)
low light vision

That is all!
A question to GM's out there...would ya let me play it? Or should I use the Sendasti from Mythic Races?

Your version seems a bit overpowered for a 0-ECL race. A few suggestions:

Change -2 Int to -2 Str, or add -2 to another stat (Wis or Cha)

Change +2 Will saves to +1

Since it's a desert race, consider giving bonuses (+4) to Wilderness Lore checks in desert environments, or perhaps give it the Endurance feat for free.

Concerning the armor limitation, this strikes me as a cultural limit, not racial. Is there any reason a sil-karg cannot wear heavier armor? If not, it would seem reasonable that any sil-karg with the requisite proficiency should be able to wear whatever he chooses. I would suggest dropping this limitation, though the race as a whole could still favor light armor (makes sense in a desert environment).

What is the race's favored multiclass? I'm guessing fighter, but I could be wrong.

BTW, as written you have a very good choice for a rogue. The -2 Int won't have a great effect on the rogue's skill points, and +2 Con will help with hit points and Fort saves. The Will save bonus would be a big boon to the character. Add a couple levels of fighter for the feats and BAB and you would have a good combat-capable rogue. Choosing the race (as written) seems a no-brainer to me, which is why I suggest knocking it down a notch or two.
