[Silverthorne Games] Open call for April 1 Material

Hey!

We at Silverthorne are looking for a few cool, wacky ideas for our upcoming April Fool's Day release (title withheld). If anyone has any stuff they'd like to contribute, it should be in our hot little hands before March 23, 2004.

What we're looking for:
Art
Critters
Spells
Feats
Short Stories
Magic Items/Artifacts
NPCs
Locales
Anything else that's funny!

All humor should be relatively clean and over the 8th-grade level (i.e., no bodily functions jokes, toilet humor, etc.). Other than that, anything goes. Contributors grant ownership of the material to Silverthorne if their stuff is selected for publication, but we will be making all said contributions 100% OGC, so it can be used again elsewhere.

Sound good? Post questions if you've got 'em. Got something to send in? Shoot it over to silverthornegames@yahoo.com and put "April Fool's Submission" in the title of the email.

Thanks!
Ian

What length should story submissions, NPCs, and Locales be? And is this a non paying open call?

I've got some funny stuff lying around, I'll be sure to submit some.

Thanks.

Length should be around 2000 words, but that is more of a guideline than a hard-set rule. This call is non-paying, as the product will be free -- heck, we have to pay RPG Now $10.00 just to offer it for free these days ;)

Should be worth it though. We look forward to your submissions.

Are you kids horning in on the portable hole series' dominon on April 1st products?
:-D

Well, there's more than enough silliness in this world to go around, methinks. So, I wouldn't really call it 'horning in'. Since both are free products, I don't think we're going to eat into their market share or profits much ;)

Besides, ours will be different. It will be the first PDF product ever published on 100% recycled electrons. :)

Cheers!
