Still experimenting with dmsguild.
I rewrote all the caster NPCs in Monster Manual to be a lot more encounter friendly for general use. Such as making them closer conform to expected DMG numbers, especially regarding hp, AC, and damage, making a lot of spells at-will for purposes of combat, removing gotcha and hard to run easily spells, etc...
Plus if a particular caster had spells that they'd clearly be expected to use every combat as a bonus or reaction, and I didn't bake the effect of the spell into hp/AC somehow, then I listed it to make it much more visible.
