Since I can't search...Landscape vs. Portrait

Landscape and portrait do different things well, and each is preferred by a significant segment of the market.

Landscape is better for viewing on screeen while portrait is better for printing.

What we do at RPGO is to provide both. In the past this meant laying it out twice but the latest version of Indesign automates the process.

If I had to pick just one it would be portrait since such a large segment of your customers will want to print the book.

Still I think both is preferable.

Was this argument ever resolved? :)

I think I'm going to go with portrait for the time being. It's what I'm most comfortable with, and I don't feel like laying things out twice (being a Quark user :D ).

Hmm... That sounds nice!
How are you doing that in Indesign CS?
