Six Flags

Has anyone else seen the new Six Flags commercial that has been airing the past few days? For some reason, the old guy in it creeps me out, and at the same time I find it hysterical to watch. Maybe it's the damn song that is playing, which is now caught in my head...

Been airing in Atlanta for at least a few weeks now. That "old guy" has got to be an actor in heavy makeup. That is my theory at least, to convince myself that no natural-born human being looks that creepy.

They have been running those commercials with the Creepy Old Guy here in Texas since early March. That's when Six Flags over Texas was open for spring break, and they keep running them now.

I don't think we'll see any lessening of the Creepy Old Guy until Six Flags has Fight Fest in October.

Haven't seen it yet around Chicago, but then I haven't seen much tv for a while either. I think in this case I may be lucky. :p

The song is...

The song is the Venga Boys' "We Like To Party"

The old guy is definitely not old - you can see the "bald cap" lines if you look closely - though I do think he looks rather like "Uncle Junior" Corrado Soprano from the Sopranos made up like that.

You can see the TV commercial if you go to the six flags website: http://www.sixflags.com

For some reason I still find that commercial hysterical to watch. I've seen it dozens of times, and it still cracks me up.

Help Me. :)

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw that commercial.

I'm in the same boat with Henry - I haven't laughed so hard since that happy black man danced in the K-Mart Joe Boxer commercials :D But I already knew I needed help...
