So your players come up with this idea they are level 12 they all have phalanx warrior (for looks and dms best friend bonus perhaps) and four winds tribal for +5 athletics.

The Bloodguard of the Chronicles of Thomas covenant would not be carrying weapons or likely using the shields but this definitely reminded me of them.
