skill focus and PrCs

quick question. If a PrC has a requirement of 6 ranks, and you take the Feat Skill Focus(x), would the 2 ranks acquired from the feat count towards the PrC requirement, thereby lowering the level you could obtain the PrC?

No. Skill Focus doesn't give you extra ranks in a skill, it gives you an unnamed bonus to skill checks using that skill.
