Skill Focus: Profession

If I took a Feat like Skill Focus: Profession, does the +3 go to a single Profession or to all Profession?

"Choose a skill...you have a special knack with that skill.
Benefit: You get a +3 bonus on all checks involving that skill"

Maybe I read that wrong, or maybe it just isn't clear to me, but I would like clarification.

Each Profession skill is a separate skill. Thus, you would need to choose Skill Focus (Profession (Sailor)), rather than just Skill Focus (Profession).

It works similarly to Knowledge and Craft skills.

Darn. I had a feeling that would be the answer.

If it wasn't specific it everyone would take Skill focus Knowledge (at least IMC) where of 5 four each have a at least one different knowledge skill.
