First Post
Skirmisher Publishing has released Nuisances, a Comprehensive OGL (d20 System) Sourcebook for fantasy role-playing games. This book is a must have for EVERY serious--or non-serious--gamer.

Nuisances has more and is unlike any other fantasy RPG sourcebook. It is a tribute to the early years of fantasy roleplaying games, a parody of the current state of the genre, a manual for keeping cocky and annoying players off balance, and a poignant philosophical expression of the post-modern, 21st century worldview.

Highlights of this wonderful book include:

* Hundreds and hundreds of aggravating and awful and things that can happen to players!

* Original art by about a half dozen fantasy artists!

* Introduction of the Defect character attribute—and fewer than 100 Defects!

* Bunches of unsavory Feats!

* Several Archtypical Nuisance Characters, including Krust, Joebob, and Amber!

* Cursed and off-color magic items!

* Scores of defective items!

* Many, many random d100, d12, and other Random Tables!

* Rules that address the special role of female characters in the game in a sensitive and realistic way—including Feats like Nice Body and Defects like Bitch, Hot Flashes, and Throws Like a Girl!

* Some of the most annoying monsters ever spawned, including the Decapussywhipper, the Dire Dwarf, and the world-famous Jester Dragon!

* Unfortunate NPC personality traits!

* An open game license!

* More exclamation points than any other similar product!

Multiple copies of Nuisances are available at 50% off cover price (plus shipping) for clubs, retailers, and the like directly from Skirmisher Publishing. Also available on Amazon.

Isn't this pretty old news?

I picked up a copy in December or January, I think. Definitely during the winter.

Tip to Publishers: DO NOT get your friends to review your products. Every review of this book on Amazon reads as a friend's review of the product. Clicking to see what other products were reviewed by the reviewers does not help.

(Even he review of Little Wars, which I at first thought nothing of, is of an edition published by this same publisher.)

Hand out free product at conventions, get lots of reviews. Its that simple. We don't control what people do once they have the books, but we do ASK them to post Amazon reviews.

More reviews=better search results=more money=ability to publish more books.

Heck, stop by our booth at Gencon and we'll give you stuff to review. We think our books are the best thing since sliced bread, so we don't hesitate to give them to blind reviewers. About a quarter come through and write reviews, so its worth it.

Yeah. Actually, I didn't realize you had any books beyond "Experts", which I really liked. (Unfortunately, my dogs liked it even more - they ate it back when they were pups)
