SL Guilds

Agreed my scribe. Especially since the secret police and the baliffs would make a point of trying to root out such criminal activity. Mithril though has a few theives guilds. They just don't operate in the Temple part of the city. They know better than to attract attention to themselves there.

No, they don't. But then they are a little kinder on their criminals than some others. :)

If thats not incentive to move to mitreal from Hollowfaust for a life of crime I don't know what is.

And that is so strange to me considering Mithril is a city full of superman wannabe's that its bizzare. But, then again, the emporer was essentially the dark side in star wars and he lived practically within the grasp of the jedi council and they didn't even know it, but still.

Analogy aside, I like the city-state sourcebooks that have been written, they add a great dimension to the world.

Yep. I can't wait to see Shelzar in March. Dave Brohamn, the guy who worked on Warrens of the Ratmen, does nice work. :)

I am curious about Hornsaw, mainly in it's potential for adventures. I mean I know there's like a thousand and one already, but I do want to see what's going on in that wood...

Btw while it does have "supermen" most are off trying to reclaim old holdings left when the Vengaruak, proud and the Horseman all came at them. So they might not be as viligant in the city. Not to mention not everyone guy is a paladin. Most are just city guards.

Well as long as you don't venture into the Temple part of the city, yes. There are a number of theives guild in the harbor part of th city. Most pay off the guards to look the other way. But some do get noticed and thus get caught. However I think a theives paradise is more likely Shelzar, since pretty much run the city for the most part.

Btw, San, you might be interested in the Player's Guide to Rangers and Rogues. I imagine it might have stuff for other thieves guilds and such. I don't know that for certain, but it seems right to me.

I believe if I recall right, they are slating Player's Guide to Rangers and Rogues for late August, early September. Depends on when they get the manuscript in and the authors have their stuff done.
