Here is more clarity... It comes down to play style. most of the changes (as opposed to additions and new features many I find awesome) can be ignored quite safely (even some of the best ones) if you don't play with a bunch of rules hackers trying to eke out every last drop ...

I simply don't agree with this

And that's your right.

For example, the Monster Builder provides a huge number of monsters, but it's certainly comprehensible and downright easy to use.

The Monster Builder has only a small fraction of the number of options I'm talking about here - by definition, everything in the Monster Builder is just a subset of the overall rules bits that one could keep track of.

Every power for every class and race, from every book. Every feat. Every weapon. Every magic item. That list is potentially much larger than what's in the Monster Builder.
