Slow posting responce?

I'm noticing that while navigating the site seems fast, I've seen a delay of up to 15 minutes to actualy post a message. Is there some maintinance going on?

Ok, now I got an error that said the thread was invalid after I posted from a quote.

In addition to this, I am now unable to edit posts, and get the same wrong thread error after waiting 15 minutes.

I am also getting long wait time (it seems to get stuck at completed 44 of 45 items, or the equivilant), incompletely formatted pages and error messages. Stupidly, I just deleted the error messsage. Next time I will make a copy and post it here.

I've deleted the post. I'm afraid that someone more tech oriented than I will have to address the larger issue. I encourage you to post any error messages here.

Just a follow up; the problem seems to have sorted itself (or it has been sorted) in the last hour or so. The last item is flashing up and the page completed very quickly now. Don't know if anyone changed anything.

I noticed slowness last night/this morning. I figured it was probably related to the work they are doing to try to recover the missing 5 months.

Yeah, it's better now. All my cookies disapeared, but not sure why. That was a different system as well.
