Stuff isn't pouring out yet because they haven't finished writing the rules yet. I hope they're trying to avoid a 3.0-to-3.5-style upgrade.

Better to offer fewer products of quality than crank out a ton of crap that you would regret spending money on after you got it.

If you have money burning a hole in your pocket there is always miniatures. One can never have enough of those. :)

Personally I will take the current release schedule to releasing everything simultaneously in DEcember or Januray.

I'm completely the opposite, I'd much rather wait and have perfect products at the same time. Even with their so called "focus" on each product individually to make it perfect the PHB has some pretty glaring errors. If they would have given the time from august to double triple quadruple check each book, then we would have a nice PHB without warlock spell errors and other problems. Same amount of time for each book, except you could have had one or two people each week go through the PHB and we wouldn't have this problem, but whatever, nothing anyone can do about it now except update the books with proper errata and resell them. /shrug

No significant portion of the market is going to refuse to buy a product in three months that they would have bought three months earlier. There's time sensitivity in terms of years (because of competitors) but not in this industry in terms of months.

This ain't the mobile phone market. In that market, this thread makes sense.

All threads like this do is indicate there's a market. Who doesn't want threads asked for more stuff now? That's the publisher's dream.
