Small World Experience- Met Talinthas Over Miniatures

I had a small world experience yesterday and randomly met Talinthas, who'd I brushed up against in the FLGS many times without knowing he was Talinthas. He bought up a box of the dnd minis and opened them; they were cool- I heartily endorse them. Everyone there ogled them for a while and we were all impressed by both the quality of the paint jobs and the coolness of some of the minis (he got the gnome recruit and human commoner and bearded devil and...)

Good stuff, and it was cool to meet him; he always struck me as a nice guy (both online and in the game shop).

Anyway, just thought I'd share...

How do you know it was him, and not merely an impostor who saw his name on the boards and pretended to be him, which is far more likely?

Consider the number of people who read the boards and have heard his name, vs. the number of people who would actually be him. I think that the former is a much larger group, and so it is far more plausible that what you encountered was somebody from that former group, rather than the latter group.
