One thing I did enjoy seeing was Lex and Lionel acting as a team in this episode. It's not often you get to see those two working in sync, and it's fun to watch.
Jason's death was not unexpected, especially since they said on the previews someone was going to die.
Finally, Clark going to college near home? I have to say I was disappointed, because seeing what they do in a large city would have been fun, but I also can't say it was unexpected. I keep wondering if they're going to kill off Johnathan Kent and force Martha to sell the farm to pay for Clark's college (and keep him from shackling himself to the farm, and move the darned story forward).
Jason's mentioned in the blurb on the WB site about next weeks episode. It doesn't look like he's dead. Which makes me wonder if they outright lied in the previews for yesterday's episode.BelenUmeria said:Well, he was shot in the shoulder, so I am not sure he is dead. They really switched his character around very quickly in the last few episodes, although I do not mind because I hated him from the start.
I still think that Chloe is safe, but that's just me.

Hey, he fell in the water, and there was no body to be seen. Using comic-book conventions (and the show is based on comics), there's no way he's dead.Henry said:Jason's death was not unexpected, especially since they said on the previews someone was going to die.
You have noticed the title of the show, haven't you? Moving Clark to Metropolis or some other big city would make the title a but wrong (unless Lois is there to call him Smallville all the time). Finally, Clark going to college near home?
