Well, right now all he knows is 'I came in this ship'; he doesn't know about his homeworld, his real parents, anything. I think him finding out about that, getting the grounding and connection that comes from that, might make a major shift in his personality. I'll be very interested in how they handle Krypton.

When Christopher Reeve (played Superman in the movies) guest stars at the end of this month, his character is described as "a scientist whose expert field is Krypton" (or some such thing)..... so if they are going so far as naming the planet in that episode and the like, I'm sure some more history will quickly be revealed and lead Clark on that train of thought...

I know that, but what about instincts? Physiology? Intelligence? Nil.
