I'd have prefered Commando Snake Eyes over Ninja Snake Eyes, but that's not bad.

I think the red Arashikage symbol is a bit to bright, though.

How much can one ask of a ninja's costume?
To be functional to the wearer, without Hollywood taking too much creative license for its appearance.

To be brutally honest, I like it to be less of a superhero-type costume.

Me too. I'm with D.Shaffer in that I'd rather see Commando Snake-Eyes, but all things considered this costume looks pretty decent. I'll be super happy if he wields an uzi and a spike-knuckle trench knife at some point.

Frankly, I'm stoked that they pulled in Larry Hama as a creative consultant. That is a step in the right direction, for sure.

I understand he's got a part in the movie as well.

(Oh, and could Arnold Vosloo have been more perfectly cast as Zartan?)

I completely agree. I really enjoyed his work on the original series, and while the new books are well done, they just don't have the same magic he worked on them IMO.

LOL awesome.

No, that was pretty spot-on casting right there.

:D
