The Author Chimes In

Greetings!

I am the primary designer and writer of SnarfQuest for the d20 System, which should be out in October. Elmore Productions decided to go for a hardbound, based on the preferences of many people for books of this kind.

In addition to lots of information about the world of SnarfQuest, specific rules for running a humor-based fantasy campaign, comments by creator and illustrator Larry Elmore—the book should be jam-packed with Snarf art.

I had a blast working on the book. I hope you'll give a look when it hits your favorite game store!

I' have always been a big fan of SnarfQuest and, believe me, finding the first edition (the TSR one) of the SnarfQuest book in Italy in the '80 was REALLY hard (I own it, of course)... I have bought the Dynasty SnarfQuest book too (sadly the printing quality was not very good) and the miniatures so I'll surely buy this new book but... $ 20.00, albeit for a hardcover, seem to me too much. Is there any color in the book, for example a full color map of Snarf's world?

Price is fine...it's the page count

I love Snarf.

I mean, I LOVE Snarf!

That little teaser of a map we got to see in the early comics always made me want to have a fantasy setting based on the world of Snarf. With all the juicy characters and places and general craziness that went on in Snarfquest I really can't imagine 64 pages doing the property justice.

128? Maybe...just barely. 300 would be just right. :)

I'd pay $40 for a 300 page Snarf setting, any day.

Long live Snarf!
